What is Shoobox?

Shoobox is a mobile game where you can collect and trade virtual items ("shoobits") and design unique virtual rooms.

Shoobie is a friendly, helpful guide who will help you through the game and Shoobiverse!

What's the point of Shoobox?

Make a room (or rooms) that you love! Collect unique shoobits! Trade with other players! Have fun!

How old do I have to be to play Shoobox?

You must be at least 13 to have a Shoobox account. Rooms you build are published to public web pages that anyone with the link can see, so the age floor matches what that involves. Purchasing tokens is subject to Apple's in-app purchase rules.

How do I download Shoobox?

Shoobox is currently available for iOS (more platforms coming soon). You can download Shoobox from the Apple App Store.

How do I stay up to date with Shoobox?

Sign up for notifications to be sure you get into the store as soon as possible when new shoobits arrive, and maybe even get the Platinum shoobit!

We also recommend keeping automatic app updates on so you always have the latest app version and features:

What is a shoobit?

A shoobit is a virtual item that you can collect and trade.

How do I get shoobits?

You can get shoobits in several ways:

• Collecting shoobits from the store (new shoobits every day!)
• Requesting gifts from other players
• Trading with other players

What can I do with shoobits?

Decorate your virtual room.

Gift shoobits with other players.

Trade shoobits with other players.

How many shoobits can I have?

Each room has a limit of shoobits that can go into it. Once you reach that limit, you will need to unlock a new room to fit more shoobits.

What's that badge next to a shoobit?

Shoobits all have different tiers. Their badges indicate their tier so you can buy and trade wisely!

What does "Mint Copy" do after a scan?

Right after a scan you can spend Coins to mint copies of that shoobit. The window is short, so decide while the button is up.

Minting does not create the copy on the spot. It adds to a "+1", "+2" counter on your shoobit. Whenever you want a copy, open the shoobit in your room and tap that number, and the copy appears in that room.

Copies work like any other shoobit. You can place them, gift them, and trade them. Each one wears a teal badge so anyone can tell a copy from the original.

It works this way so you can buy copies now and place them later, even when your rooms are full.

How can I rearrange shoobits?

Press the "Home" icon to view your rooms, then press a shoobit and then the "Move?" button to rearrange it.

You can move a shoobit in the following ways:

• Move it left/right/up/down with the directional pad
• Make it bigger or smaller with the + and - buttons
• Put it in front of/behind other shoobits with the FWD and BCK buttons
• Flip it horizontally with the double arrow button (in the middle of the directional pad)

Press the "Done?" button when you are ready to go back to the details view.

Can I move shoobits between rooms?

Yes!! Once you have more than one room, you will have the option to move shoobits between rooms by pressing the "Transfer?" button then the "Move between rooms" option.

Can I get rid of a shoobit?

If you don't want a shoobit in your room anymore, you can either offer it to another player, or select it, enter "Move?" mode, and press the "Trash" icon to delete it.

How do I get a room?

You will be able to select your first room when you sign up.

After that, you unlock new rooms by collecting shoobits. Your next room shows a countdown of how many more shoobits you need to collect. Once you have collected enough, an "Unlock Room" button appears. Tap it to claim your new room.

How can I see other rooms?

Press the "Discover" icon to see a feed of other rooms. You can press a room in the feed in order to see more details, zoom in, and inspect the shoobits within it.

When you "enter" a room, you may even see that room's owner rearranging!

You can inspect a shoobit by pressing it. You'll then see more details and can like it, or initiate a gift or trade with it.

In this feed, you can follow your favorite players to keep track of them and be able to send them shoobits!

What is the daily room contest?

Every day you can enter one of your rooms in the contest. Entering costs Coins, and you can enter one room a day.

Everyone swipes through the rooms that entered and votes for the ones they like. The 3 rooms with the most votes at the next drop win a prize and get featured with a medal.

Your result lands in your inbox at the drop: where your room placed, and how many of the winners you picked.

Contest run by Shoobox. Apple is not a sponsor and is not involved in any way. Entries cost Coins; winners are the rooms with the most votes at the drop.

What are tokens?

Tokens are an in-game currency that can be used for a variety of purposes.

What can I do with tokens?

You can use tokens to:

• Buy extra shoobits from the store (beyond your free daily claim)
• Offer to other players in exchange for their shoobits
• Gift to other players
• and more to come!

How can I get more tokens?

You will get some tokens to play with when you sign up. Once you are in the game, you can get more tokens by:

• Purchasing tokens using the "Buy" button in the Store
• Selling your shoobits to other players in exchange for tokens
• Referring friends to the game with your unique referral link (see "Referrals" section)
• Receiving sporadic in-game rewards
• and more to come!

What is the store?

The store is where you can buy new shoobits.

The store contains shoobits of various tiers and availabilities. The higher the shoobit tier, the less in stock there are, so you have to be quick!

How often can I get new shoobits from the store?

You can visit the store every day to collect new shoobits!

New shoobits arrive in the store every day at 3:00p ET. This time is subject to change, so be sure to keep checking back.

SHOOBIE TIP: Sign up for notifications to be sure you get the into the store as soon as possible when new shoobits arrive, and maybe even get the Platinum shoobit!

How much do shoobits from the store cost?

You can claim one shoobit from the store each day for free.

You can also buy tokens which can be used to buy shoobits from the store. These can be used anytime, but no matter how many tokens you have, you can only buy 2 Limited Quantity (Gold or Platinum) shoobits per store.

How can I trade a shoobit?

You can initiate trades to other players by selecting the shoobit you would like to trade (either yours or theirs), and then pressing the "Transfer?" button then the "Trade" option.

How can I give someone a shoobit?

To gift a shoobit to another player, first make sure you are following them. Then, select the shoobit you would like to give to them, and press the "Transfer?" button then the "Gift" option.

How can I request a shoobit from someone?

To request a shoobit from another player, select the shoobit you would like them to give you, and press the "Transfer?" button then the "Request" option.

How can I respond to a gift or trade request?

Press the "Envelope" icon to view your Inbox. You can then press the offer to see more details, and either accept or reject it.

Does Shoobox have an affiliate/referral program?

Yes! You can generate a referral code and special referral link in the app.

How can I get a referral code?

You have a few options to get and use your referral code:

• You can get your unique referral code by pressing the "Settings" icon, then the "Refer Friends, Get Tokens" option. You can then copy your referral link and include it in social posts or link directly.
• You can also get a referral code by pressing the "Share" button next to a room. Your referral code will be included on the room image.

How do I use someone else's referral code?

When you sign up, you will have the option to enter a referral code. It may prefill already if you used their special link.

What do other people get for using my referral code?

Different referral codes have different rewards, so, depending on the code, folks who sign up using your referral code may receive extra tokens or a unique shoobit!

What do I get when someone uses my referral code?

Press the "Settings" icon, then type the new username and press the "Done" button in the keyboard.

How can I delete my account?

Press the "Settings" icon, then the "Delete Account" option.

Press the "Settings" icon, then the "Enable Notifications?" option.
